Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-02-19

Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-02-19
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Beno Udrih, Shooting guard Kevin Martin, Small forward Francisco Garcia, Power forward Jason Thompson, Center Spencer Hawes. Bench -- Forward Rashad McCants, Small forward Andres Nocioni, Forward Drew Gooden, Guard Bobby Jackson, Forward Mikki Moore.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Kevin Martin had 32 points against Atlanta on Wednesday, but it was his work on the glass that came as much more of a surprise. He grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds against the Hawks, surpassing his previous high from this season of seven and nearing his career high of 12.

--F Donte' Greene saw rare early playing time against Atlanta on Wednesday, entering the game in the first quarter. But by the time the night ended, Greene had played just seven minutes. Greene, who has played double-digit minutes just once since Dec. 28, has played a far more minimal role than was expected this season after he was traded from Houston to Sacramento in the Ron Artest trade last summer.

--F Kenny Thomas may be on the verge of watching another trade deadline come and go without getting his wish. The 10-year veteran hasn't played a relevant role in Sacramento since the 2006-07 season, but the Kings apparently can't find a new home for him and his sizable contract. Thomas will make $8.5 million this season and $8.7 million next season.

MEDICAL WATCH:

No significant injuries.
