Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-01-04

Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-01-04
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Beno Udrih, Shooting guard John Salmons, Small forward Francisco Garcia, Power forward Mikki Moore, Center Brad Miller. Bench -- Forward Jason Thompson, Forward Mikki Moore, Guard Bobby Brown, Guard Bobby Jackson, Small forward Donte' Greene.

PLAYER NOTES:

--C Brad Miller is officially in the midst of a mini-resurgence. The veteran had 13 points, nine rebounds and six assists at Indiana on Saturday. Miller was coming off a 25-point, 16-rebound outing at Detroit on Friday and a 15-point, 13-rebound game against the Clippers on Tuesday.

--PG Beno Udrih may be in danger of losing his starting job. The fifth-year player, who signed a five-year, $32 million deal last summer, played just 12 minutes at Indiana on Saturday and did not play in the fourth quarter. He has logged 22 or fewer minutes in three of the past four games.

--SG John Salmons needs to find a way to continue producing even as Kevin Martin has returned to the lineup. Yet in the three games since Martin returned from his left ankle injury, Salmons has hit just 17 of 50 shots while averaging 16.3 points per game. He had 13 points at Indiana on Saturday.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Kenny Thomas (left calf strain) remains out but could return this week.

--C Spencer Hawes (strained abdomen) has missed the past three games and remains day-to-day.
