Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2008-12-26

Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2008-12-26
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Beno Udrih, Shooting guard John Salmons, Small forward Francisco Garcia, Power forward Spencer Hawes, Center Brad Miller. Bench -- Forward Jason Thompson, Forward Mikki Moore, Guard Bobby Brown, Guard Bobby Jackson, Small Forward Donte' Greene.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Quincy Douby did not play against San Antonio because of a stomach virus. Douby has played in just two of four games since interim coach Kenny Natt took over on Dec. 15, logging nine and three minutes, respectively, against Portland and New Orleans. He has played in just 16 games overall.

--PG Beno Udrih hardly made the Spurs miss him in his reunion game Monday. The former San Antonio point guard played at the AT&T Center for the first time since the 2007 Finals because he had been injured for the two Kings games there last season. Udrih had 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting, four assists and three turnovers. He did grab a career-high six steals.

--F John Salmons continued to rack up big numbers that mean very little. The swingman had 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting, giving him 20-plus points in each of the Kings' losses on their just-concluded road trip.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Kevin Martin (left ankle soreness) remains day-to-day and there is no timetable for his return. He is expected to miss at least another week.

--F Kenny Thomas (left calf strain) remains out but could return next week.
