Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2008-12-14

Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2008-12-14
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Beno Udrih, Shooting guard John Salmons, Small forward Francisco Garcia, Power forward Spencer Hawes, Center Brad Miller. Bench -- Forward Jason Thompson, Forward Mikki Moore, Guard Bobby Brown, Guard Bobby Jackson, Small forward Donte' Greene.

PLAYER NOTES:

--SG Kevin Martin continues to miss games with no known timetable for his return. The fifth-year player has missed 12 of the last 14 games with a left ankle that he says isn't comfortable enough to allow him to play just yet. The Kings are 3-11 in his absence.

--F Jason Thompson has seen a recent spike in minutes, but the rookie has been unable to capitalize when it comes to his offense. After hitting just four of 12 shots against the Knicks on Saturday, he has converted 15 of 48 overall in the past six games (31.3 percent).

--SF John Salmons hit just two of eight 3-pointers against the Knicks on Saturday, making him the worst of the Kings' offenders as they hit just three of 23 from beyond the arc collectively. It was an unwelcome change of pace for Salmons, who entered play having converted a career-high 41.3 percent from 3-point range.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--SG Kevin Martin (left ankle soreness) remains day-to-day, and there is no timetable for his return.
