Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2008-12-10

Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2008-12-10
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Beno Udrih, Shooting guard John Salmons, Small forward Francisco Garcia, Power forward Spencer Hawes, Center Brad Miller. Bench -- Forward Jason Thompson, Forward Mikki Moore, Guard Bobby Brown, Guard Bobby Jackson, Small Forward Donte' Greene, Guard Quincy Douby, Forward Shelden Williams, forward Kenny Thomas.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Bobby Jackson went from not playing for the first time this season on Saturday in a loss to Denver to tying his season high with 15 points against the Lakers while playing 17 minutes. Jackson hit 3 of 6 3-pointers as the Kings hit 8 of 20 from beyond the arc overall.

--C Brad Miller played his most inspired game in some time, finishing with 13 points (5-of-7 shooting), seven rebounds and five assists in 33 minutes. While the veteran had put up solid numbers of late, he had strayed from these sort of well-rounded outings that have typified so much of his career in Sacramento.

--F Donte' Greene made the most of rare minutes, hitting 3 of 5 shots in 12 minutes in the win over the Lakers. Greene had struggled of late, shooting 50 percent or higher just once since Nov. 19 while often looking the part of a rookie. It wasn't a good look, to be sure, as Kings coach Reggie Theus had been hesitant to give him floor time when he was perceived as a defensive liability and inconsistent scorer.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Kevin Martin (left ankle soreness) left Saturday's game against Denver and remains day to day. He had an MRI on Monday as a precautionary measure, but the test did not reveal any new injury and his timetable remains unclear.
