ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Beno Udrih, Shooting guard John Salmons, Forward Jason Thompson, Power forward Mikki Moore, Center Brad Miller. Bench -- Center Spencer Hawes, Forward Jason Thompson, Guard Bobby Brown, Guard Bobby Jackson, Guard Quincy Douby, Forward Shelden Williams, forward Kenny Thomas.
PLAYER NOTES: --G Bobby Jackson has fallen even further out of the rotation, as Kings coach Reggie Theus is relying on rookie point guard Bobby Brown. Jackson played 11 minutes against Phoenix on Friday and nine minutes on Sunday night against San Antontio.
--G/F John Salmons had one of the best games of his career against the Spurs, hitting 10 of 13 shots and coming within one point of his career high by scoring 31 points. But the swingman had just two shots in the fourth quarter, hitting both.
--F Mikki Moore continues to start, but his role is far less than it was last season. With rookie Jason Thompson in the starting lineup (at small forward) and second-year center Spencer Hawes playing more than well enough to demand time, he entered averaging 22.8 minutes per game and played 20 against the Spurs. In the 2007-08 campaign, Moore averaged 29.8 minutes per game.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G-F Francisco Garcia (strained right calf) has yet to play in the regular season and is expected to at least another week.
--G Kevin Martin (sprained left ankle) did not play against Detroit on Tuesday and is out four to seven more days.
