Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-12-08

Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-12-08ROTATION: Starters -- Guard Tyreke Evans, Guard Donte' Greene, Small forward Andres Nocioni, Power forward Jason Thompson, Center Spencer Hawes. Bench -- Guard Beno Udrih, Guard Sergio Rodriguez, Forward Omri Casspi, Guard Ime Udoka, Forward Kenny Thomas, Guard Sergio Rodriguez.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Donte' Greene scored 21 points against Miami on Sunday, coming within three points of his career high. Greene hit 8-of-16 shots and continued to gain the confidence of Kings coach Paul Wespthal. It has been quite the revival for Greene, the second-year player who looked like a bust after his disastrous rookie season.

--F Jason Thompson struggled against Phoenix Saturday and continued to do so against Miami Sunday, scoring just five points and grabbing eight rebounds. He did have eight rebounds, however.

--F Andres Nocioni scored in single digits for the first time in four games, tallying nine points against Miami on Sunday on 4-of-13 shooting. Nocioni was just 1-of-7 from three-point range.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G/F Francisco Garcia (right wrist fracture) is out at least until mid-February after his exercise ball accident on Oct. 9. The fifth-year player was bench pressing with 90-pound dumbbells in each arm when the ball exploded and the weights caused the injury that required surgery.

--G Kevin Martin is out at least eight weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a hairline fracture in his left wrist on Nov. 9.
