Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-11-23

Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-11-23ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Beno Udrih, Shooting guard Donte' Greene, Small forward Andres Nocioni, Power forward Jason Thompson, Center Spencer Hawes. Bench -- Guard Sergio Rodriguez, Forward Omri Casspi, Forward Kenny Thomas, Center Jon Brockman.

--G Tyreke Evans sat out Saturday's loss at Houston with a sprained middle finger on his right hand. The rookie suffered the injury in the second half of Friday's game at Dallas. He was able to finish that game but couldn't deal with the pain Saturday. Evans had 20 points when the Kings beat the Rockets 109-100 on Nov. 13 in Sacramento.

--G Donte' Greene made his second start in the last three games, and like the first time, he gave his team a lift offensively. He hit a pair of 3-pointers among five consecutive field goals Saturday, and he finished with 13 points. Greene had 24 points when promoted to the starting lineup Tuesday against the Bulls, but then he went scoreless off the bench Friday at Dallas.

--C Spencer Hawes had arguably the best game of his career against the Rockets, matching his all-time best with 24 points while also grabbing nine rebounds. It was the third time this season the big guy has scored 20 or more. He's been held to 12 or fewer in the Kings' other nine games.

--G Beno Udrih took up the slack for Tyreke Evans' absence the best he could, contributing 18 points, a season-best eight assists and two steals. Perhaps most impressive, he had only one turnover in 37 minutes as the Kings, who gave the ball away 21 times apiece in their previous two games, committed only 14 turnovers against the Rockets.

--G Tyreke Evans (sprained right middle finger) couldn't go in Nov. 21 loss at Houston after smacking his hand on the court chasing a loose ball in the second half of the Nov. 20 game at Dallas. X-rays were negative, and he could return Nov. 23 at Memphis.

--G Kevin Martin (fractured left wrist) underwent surgery Nov. 9 to repair a hairline fracture. He should return around the first of the year.

--G/F Francisco Garcia (fractured right wrist) underwent surgery following a Oct. 9 weight-room accident. He is out until at least mid-February.
