Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-03-29

Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-03-29
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Beno Udrih, Shooting guard Kevin Martin, Small forward Andres Nocioni, Power forward Jason Thompson, Center Spencer Hawes. Bench -- Forward Francisco Garcia, Guard Rashad McCants, Forward Donte' Greene, Center Calvin Booth.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Bobby Jackson decided against having corrective surgery on his fractured left cheek bone on Friday and returned to action for the first time on Friday against Memphis. Jackson, who suffered the injury against Cleveland on March 13, wore a protective mask in his return and went scoreless while missing all three of his shots in 19 minutes.

--G-F Andres Nocioni caught the attention of his bosses and his teammates this week, telling Ole' magazine from his native Argentina that he had little hope the Kings could improve in the near future. The veteran, who is signed through 2012, said a day later to The Sacramento Bee that he wants to remain a King so long as he is confident they are more motivated to win than they are to simply save money.

--G Kevin Martin may have had 31 points against Memphis on Friday, but he once again did little else but score in what has been a trend for much of the season. Martin had no rebounds in 39 minutes, although he did manage two assists and just one turnover.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--The Kings are healthy.
