Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-03-06

Sacramento Kings Roster Report 2009-03-06
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Bobby Jackson, Shooting guard Kevin Martin, Small forward Francisco Garcia, Power forward Jason Thompson, Center Spencer Hawes. Bench -- Small forward Andres Nocioni, Guard Bobby Jackson, Guard Rashad McCants.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G/F Francisco Garcia suffered a non-displaced fracture in his right ring finger late in the second quarter but returned after halftime to log 18 of his 34 minutes. Garcia, who had his fingers taped together when he returned, had just eight points on 3-of-9 shooting with five turnovers.

--G Rashad McCants has been one of the Kings' lone bright spots of late, and Tuesday was no different. The fourth-year guard who was traded to the Kings recently from Minnesota had 20 points on 6-of-6 shooting in 30 minutes.

--G-F Andres Nocioni continues to have minimal impact despite his maximum effort. The veteran who was traded to the Kings recently from Chicago has had an inconsistent role. He had eight points on 3-of-8 shooting in just 18 minutes. Nocioni continues to say that he is fine starting or coming off the bench, although the injury to Francisco Garcia could change the lineup.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Beno Udrih (sprained right foot, day to day).

--G-F Francisco Garcia (non-displaced fracture right ring finger, day to day).
