Sacramento Kings Notes, Quotes 2008-12-21
--The Kings hadn't won a road game since downing New Orleans on Nov. 19, and their streak was extended to seven with the latest loss.

--While the Kings would surely like to win a game every so often, their last two losses have been nearly identical in their competitive nature. Against both New Orleans and Houston on Friday and Saturday, they were tied at halftime before a rash of third-quarter turnovers did them in. Nonetheless, it's a more welcome way to lose when compared to the routs that agitate management, such as Tuesday's 30-point loss at Portland.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "It's hard to keep him out of the paint. He's so good at hesitating and getting in the paint. It's hard to guard the guy. When he is on top of his game like that, it's going to be hard for anybody to beat them like that." -- Kings G Bobby Jackson, on the play of New Orleans PG Chris Paul in Saturday night's Hornets win.
