Sacramento Kings Notes, Quotes 2009-04-21
--While the Kings' uncertain coaching situation is the first task at hand, the future of president of basketball operations Geoff Petrie will be a topic of discussion this summer as well.

Petrie, who has been with the organization for the last 15 years, has just one season remaining on his contract.

--The looming arena issue will remain a relevant matter for the Kings as well, as Arco Arena is widely considered outdated and team co-owners Joe and Gavin Maloof have made no secret of their desire for a new facility. While there is a proposal in place to build an arena at the California Exposition State Fair in Sacramento, it is heavily dependant on private financing and thus not likely to come to fruition. If there is no substantial progress on the arena front in the next year, the odds of the Kings moving out of Sacramento will greatly increase.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "It was a tough season. I'm just enjoying this win. It's been a long time coming. We haven't had many this year, but every one is a good feeling. I'm just enjoying that right now and looking forward to tomorrow and we'll see what happens from there." -- Kings coach Kenny Natt.
