The Kings have plenty of time to practice in the coming two weeks. The only question, of course, is whether it will do any good.
After falling to Indiana at Arco Arena on Tuesday, they have just two games in the next nine days. The late-season training could be more vital than usual, as the Kings recently added seven players and appear to be lacking chemistry again with the way they let the Pacers run rampant on them in the latest outing. What's more, the stretch is heavy on the home games, with the Kings hosting Denver on Sunday and Oklahoma City on Tuesday. The downside is that the Kings simply aren't the Kings at home anymore, as they are 9-21 at Arco Arena.
INDIANA 117, KINGS 109: With Kings point guard Beno Udrih out for the third straight game with a sprained right foot, the Pacers had no trouble in the point guard department at Arco Arena.
Jarrett Jack finished with 26 points on 10-of-19 shooting, T.J. Ford had nine assists to go with 11 points, and reserve Travis Diener hit all five of his three-pointers en route to an 18-point outing as the Pacers hit 11-of-21 from beyond the arc in all.
