OSCEOLA COUNTY -- The Three Kings joined County Commission Chairman John Qui?ones and former Orlando Magic player Bo Outlaw to make a brief stop in Kissimmee last week to promote an annual festival that distributes toys and good cheer to local families. Three Kings Day, or El D?a de los Reyes, is a holiday celebrated around the world by various cultures as a way to remember the three Wise Men, who brought their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the baby Jesus. The celebration takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 3 at Osceola Heritage Park. The event offers free refreshments, a children's play area, toys and raffling of bikes every seven minutes. More than 4,000 people attended last year's event; the organizing Hispanic Business Council anticipates higher participation this time.
